Nobody knows the specifics. But you can bet 100:1 that the spammers&scammers are very much looking forward to it. I bet they have a pipeline of alternative spamming solutions ready, complete with the memes, marketing, and general comments about how the bitcoiners' response was impotent, ridiculous, useless, etc. Add to that any number of other, less obvious things that don't immediately come to mind, and which I'm reluctant to post because I don't want to give them any ideas.
