And by "use force" I mean "feel entitled to use force"

BIP110 is pretty similar to legislation for mandatory vaccination. Herd immunity only works when most do it, and *the experts know better* so they can use force if you don't comply voluntarily.
Maybe something along this line: Hey Elon, remember when Turkey banned X? Or Europe threatened to? Well, if you connect X to the open source nostr network, that'll be impossible forever. It's an unstoppable, distributed network protocol. Happy to explain the details.
Could also add a really long and complex password for entropy, then go into Seed Functions->Lock Down Seed, to create a new seed that incorporated the long PW. Never need to enter it again afterwards.
If you want to grab a CEO's attention, it's better to present him the user experience than the protocol from which to derive the UX, just saying.
That one is MK1, should be safe unless it runs 4.0.1 or higher (which I believe it can't)
Yes. Several other attackers will have joined by now, and are apparently increasing the search range 😭
ZDF dann so: "Bitcoin nimmt den Menschen ihr Glück!"
Life hack: make a not-to-do list, and put all the stuff on it you hate. Then when someone telly you to do X, you can say "That's one of the top priorities on my not-to-do list!"
Yes, I know about the #ifndef. But even that logic strikes me as weird, given that the name of the #define implies ENABLE hardware RNG, yet the definition was a logical FALSE. Which means, had the check been a proper if(!…) instead of #ifndef, then it still wouldn't use the HW RNG. And again, I may just be hung over, but this kind of logic inversion sometimes happens when programming, and in this particular case it's hard to detect, because the result is just loss of entropy. That's why I'm asking people who are more into the code, to review this part (I'm literally too old for that).
Sounds like something JCD would have said.
I know a few who run knots, and I can understand where they come from. They're putting morals first, not engineering, which means it'll fail as soon as it hits reality but at least they can feel good. It's a bit like the climate alarmists: their effort doesn't actually help with the problem, but they're on The Right Side™.
can you plz check the logic in your cc bug code?
Never mind, found it 🤓
GM! Maybe I'm just stupid, or brainfogged from working through the night helping my friends copy with the CC bug, but isn't this logic wrong anyhow? If the board config defines HW_ENABLE_RNG as zero (logically: FALSE), and the SW later checks for it NOT being TRUE, then the hardware still isn't used, right? I saw a 14 minute video here today, about similarities between GenZ and ancient Japan's Ronin, but I can't find it anymore. Can anyone help me out please? Thanks 🙏
