Decided to go back to Windows. Very tricky to say the least. Old poker accounts trying to get access. Transferring ext4 files from Linux to NTFS for windows. A pain. Using a live Linux USB to transfer files over. We'll see if this works.

For instance, when I fail to make Day 2 of the Main Event, in a series. Then just chill out, and enjoy a day off before the travel back.

Need to plan out my next steps poker wise. Over played too many events in Cork. Adjust, to Max 3 bullets in the main event. Or if higher buyin , then 2 bullets Max. Don't chase more events either. I've got all weekend, after all. More games to come in the future.

Think I need to go back to Windows. Software needed for Irish Poker Open, the 1150 euro main event 1M gtd. Last played it in 2011. When it was 3500 or 4500 euro. These games I'm playing. Play passive aggressive. Some guts overcall with hands they should 100% 3bet. Of course aggressive players too. That's why, thinking of online cash games to sharpen flop, turn, and river play. Many tournament series coming up, that I should aim to qualify for. That's why.

So my profits from Limerick, payed for the Cork games. In the main event, bust level 16, end of day 1. About 100 left. Fired 4 bullets. Too many. Should keep to two bullets for 250/300 buyins. Then for 200 and under three bullets. Just in main event only. Side events are one bullet only. And took 600 with me to Limerick. That score, payed for ALL the games I played in Cork. Got value. The second afternoon bullet was incorrect. Was already playing the morning main. So lesson learned. Keep to one game per day. Or with hours between efforts. Since these live tournaments take hours and hours of concentration.

Travelling back home today. What a bank holiday weekend playing live poker. Played the PLO 4/5 tournament. Only 7 of us. 3 of them re bought in 5 or 6 times. Swelled the prize pool. Won a crucial 6 way all in on flop with s monster 4 of my 5 cards giving me a wrap straight draw. Went runner runner nuts low straight. In truth, any of my 4 cards given me straight. Had all the chips. Total fish at PLO. Blind potted under gun... Played it drunk. So much fun. In the end, 2 pay. They asked for 3rd place bubble, I said no. I.bubbled. Pot flop with top pair, wrap straight draw, and nuts flush draw. Then turn flush paired board. Pot turn caused me all in. Drawing dead vs full house. Didn't notice that paired board since I ESS drunk. So much fun. Letting hair down. Planing future poker
