I'll give a bit more credit to Apple up to twenty years ago that they were responsible for genuine technological advancement (at the cost of bruised ego and emotions, in addition to proper accreditation), and general iterative improvement up to fifteen. Since then, with few exceptions, Apple's primary M.O. has been profit and data extraction from those either too entrenched to painlessly move away, those who truly believe there's nothing designed better than the products Apple makes, or the willfully sycophantic retards.

It's very easy to get an emotionally and mentally fragile retard ruffled at any confrontation of or direct commentary ON their flaws as a human being, perceived or actualized. For desktop, I'd start with either a stripped Brave or Ungoogled Chromium (stock or by forking Helium) as a base, slowly integrating a signer and various other Nostr-native functions into the browser itself; on the mobile side, you'd be better off taking Brave and stripping everything aside from the wallet out, before starting the work of plugging Nostr stuff into it. With the Brave forking method, you could also leave Shields in so that the browser is private by default. Forking Helium for UGC also preinstalls uBlock Origin, so users could just set up or import their defaults into that alongside their keypairs for the built-in signer.
