might be useful for something like this?
Does anyone else use the #foldapp and have a good use case they can explain? I understand a large part of the app is about disconnecting from the traditional financial system but I find that the app seems to just be pushing its users towards more of its own custodial services, and has become hostile to those who want to opt out. Maybe these services do offer value to a certain person's use case? Id love to learn more even if it isn't useful for me I'd love to better understand what kind of person this app can help!
I need to make a full post outlining my grievances with the #foldapp when I get the chance. But I also feel like it would be weird dissing something I'm still dependant on for the time being. hopefully I'll have figured something else out soon.
MEOW!!!
Hell yeah!
I use the built in miner that comes with the gui wallet dirt simple and once your node is running it takes like 2 minuets or less to start mining :D
It's pretty reasonable to do on almost any device. Can't recommend it enough if you are already running your own node!
I LOVe PiBble!!!!!
Is this is true it would be great for me.

Some coins do exist that fill something of a role like this most notably kaspa which totes itself as bitcoins silver. Kaspa itself has several key advantages and follows bitcoins core filosophy quite closely but with upgrades to address scalability at the base layer, however there are some concerns regarding its founders and current levels of centralization. It's definitely worth looking into, but as of right now I struggle to find a currently viable use for it other than as store of value alternative to bitcoin. My main problem with kaspa is it's failure to innovate in areas other than pure scalability.
I keep seeing accounts talk about nostr based web-stores but I don't know how to access them. Can I do it with a normal web browser? I'd also really love to learn how a store hosted using blossom can handle secure payments and the like, is there like a good resource out there to get info on this topic? I've tried llm's but they don't seem to have much about this in their training data I assume because I can never get any real answers or links from them.
The point of Bitcoin is to be the answer to fiat. The solution to the problem. Comparison seems inevitable. The whole point of it is to be better by not acknowledging the state and being irreversible is it not? 🤓 /Shrug
