Acid used to be my go to. Haven't used it for a minute but you can build songs right out of the gate without needing to get your head around MIDI. FL has a bigger community while Acid was simpler IMO.

Totally agree. I've lost respect for people I followed with reverence during the previous three cycles and the drama that followed. Their inability to let differences go, instead subjecting themselves to piling on, was disappointing and revealing of their true character and lack of self esteem. It proves you never really know who people are until their weakness is exposed. This went beyond disagreement; the tribal collectivism was shocking and diametrically opposed to the free-thinking individuals I once thought they were.
