Due to the demands of being a father and husband I’ve been struggling to find the time I need to improve various skills that may help me level up my career. This results in me getting frustrated instead of maybe just realizing being a father and husband is more important and I should embrace it and now might not be the right time to heavily pursue other endeavors.

Been going through something similar but different. This post resonates with me, especially thinking in terms of generational impact/legacy/wealth being useless if the generation you are raising isn’t raised right.

Experience is a better teacher than more schooling he already has had plenty of schooling

Software engineer will still be a good career. I wouldn’t fade those working with computers in the age of the computer
