The sixth president of the United States, John Quincy Adams (1825-1829), warned: "The central bank is an institution of the most deadly hostility existing against the principles and form of our Constitution." And also “There are two ways to conquer and enslave a nation. One is by the sword. The other is by debt." Benjamin Franklin told us, "We have given you a republic—if you can keep it." The price of freedom is eternal vigilance” said Thomas Jefferson. He also warned us when he said, "I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency**, first by inflation, then by deflation, **the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."
No era patrón oro. Era free mint de plata y oro. No es lo mismo. Cualquiera podría mintear moneda de curso legal en uniformidad. La esclavitud es trabajar x una moneda que alguien más puede imprimir de la nada sin costo ni esfuerzo
Today is also my Nostr birthday. Two years since I own my content. Great date to remember free speech too!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AMERICA! The Fourth of July isn't just fireworks: it's a reminder that every generation must fight against economic chains. In 1776, the colonies broke with British taxes, trade controls and England's rigged central bank. They built a constitutional republic and anchored money in gold and silver (the real dollar). This is the original American spirit. That protection collapsed in 1913 when the Federal Reserve turned monetary power over to private bankers, replacing sound money with debt, inflation and endless bailouts (they replaced the dollar with federal reserve notes). Ninety-five years later, Satoshi Nakamoto rekindled that rebellious spark with code, not guns. Bitcoin offers anyone, anywhere, censorship-resistant, non-inflationary money: the antidote to paper promises and financial surveillance. This time, the American spirit is within everyone's reach. Today's cypherpunks are the new Founding Fathers. Let's defend their vision - privacy, property rights and voluntary exchange - or watch freedom vanish again in a ritual. If we succeed, we will win a second independence: freedom from economic slavery. This time worldwide. But we have to fight for and protect this original vision every day. Stop kneeling before parasitic billionaires and phony presidents. The power is within you and within a small but strong minority who fight under the same values and ideals.
?
Remove the movie too wtf
Elon is a fucking parasite sucking wealth from honest, productive Americans. He wants to form a dystopia of mass surveillance, UBI and all the same Klaus Shwab WEF bullshit. Not only that but he is a clown and I don't even think he is as smart as most people think. Starlink is cool, no one is going to argue against that, but so what? If I could access almost unlimited government funding, I would hire the best engineers in the world and I could make a bunch of cool shit. I hope if he buys bitcoin he never self-custody and ends up losing it all for being a sucker. GN frens

The problem is not just fiat currency. Is the fiat mindset Fiat education Fiat incentives Fiat authority Fiat status Fiat respect Fiat celebrities Fiat society Fiat friends Fiat food Fiat entertainment Fiat art Fiat culture Fiat lifestyle Bitcoin will not fix this, humans will because humans created them in the first place. It will get worse before it gets better. But we can be part of the change.
America is an ideal more than a country or continent. I am from Argentina, part of America, same values.
Reflecting while working out: Every day I feel more alarmed to opt out from society. I know everything is screwed up. But, every day I realize more and more how demoralized society is. This is worrying. There is no moral compass, no one gives a shit, especially those with the power to influence things. The debt crisis will only add to these problems, the more the currency degrades the more morale will degrade. Desperate people will not care about the moral consideration of their decisions to survive. Every day more and more spiritual beings become irrational animals without brains, soul or shame. It's sad, it's alarming, and I'm getting tired of it. No, Bitcoin won't fix this. At least in this generation. Maybe in a few decades, but for now this will only get worse before it gets better.
It was debt and interest free currency. If they continued like this there would not be national debt. No income taxes. And a better world for everyone.
How do I know that Banjamin Franklin is rolling in his grave? Because he said: “That is simple. In the colonies we issue our own money. It is called colonial script. We issue it in proportion to the demands of trade and industry to make the products pass easily from the producers to the consumers. In this manner, creating for ourselves our own money, we control its purchasing power, and we have no interest to pay anyone.” "The refusal of King George to allow the colonies to operate an honest money system, which freed the ordinary man from clutches of the money manipulators was probably the prime cause of the revolution”
