Your AI is wasting compute on page code it doesn't need, and you're paying for every token of it. We tested 20 real web pages. A typical one was 107,522 tokens as raw HTML. Our Page to Markdown shortcut cut it to 1,562 tokens, about 98% fewer, and kept nearly all of the article. It costs about $0.01 (around 12 sats) a page. It saves the most when your agent would otherwise read raw pages, uses a pricier model, or rereads pages over a long task. If you already run a good free cleaner like trafilatura, you won't save much, and the post says so.
