Hola! Did you know? In 1854 there was an earthquake that totally destroyed San Salvador. 'A decision was made to rebuild the capital six miles to the west of the ruined city on land belonging to the 'Hacienda Santa Tecla' that was purchased by the government' (Source Telegram!). The Nueva San Salvador - or as we now call it Santa Tecla - is where we witnessed our very first earthquake! It was a small one, but its quite a interesting moment when the whole room starts shaking! ๐ฑ๐คฃ๐ Step by step there's more adoption. Claro, the Latin American telecommunications company, did not accept our creditcard, but did accept... Bitcoin! That's why I now have a phone with a Salvadoran number, to go and visit 'Adopting Bitcoin' coming days. I'm curious to explore the congress. Just like on this very cool slide - which you can find on the way back from a great view (you've really got to go and see by yourself!) at 'El Boqueron National Park' - I think I'll just go with the flow! ๐ซ #RutaDeBitcoin๐ #AdoptingBitcoin
