2025 was a year of building real foundations. Together. ⚡ Education and adoption • 170+ local businesses in Berlín now accept Bitcoin • Around 500 from the local public high school students educated in Bitcoin alongside and @MyFirstBitcoin_ • 21 scholarships granted for English and advanced Bitcoin education • 47 Monday meetups studying the history of money, Austrian economics, Bitcoin, Lightning, Nostr, and more • Weekly Wednesday Conversation Club • Self custody workshops and personalized assistance for Berlin residents who want to start saving in Bitcoin • Co-organized held in Berlín • Hosted the Bitcoin Berlín Festival 2025, where all participating merchants accepted Bitcoin and all prices were set and paid in BTC • 2 day seminar for Bitcoin University students • The Bitcoin Hardware Store 2 day seminar for Bitcoin University students • Creation of a merchant onboarding book for El Salvador Beta version • Supported local Bitcoin accepting businesses through promotional videos and reaching thousands via social media Community • Active Bitcoin awareness throughout town life with a Bitcoin parade float, public park booths, and community events • Berlin Walls, a project creating murals around town including multiple Bitcoin themed murals • Organized community cleaning and painting campaigns alongside local high school students • The Bitcoin Center served as a space for the community to plan and organize social projects benefiting Berlín • Our Bitcoin Center in Berlín welcomed hundreds of people throughout the year, locals and visitors from all over the world • Bitcoin Pizza Day, BBQ meetups, and a Christmas potluck with our community • A Christmas basketball tournament with nearby cities, prizes paid in Bitcoin Beyond Berlín • The same Berlín team kickstarted Bitcoin adoption in #BitcoinLaLaguna, Chalatenango, now with 20+ businesses accepting Bitcoin • Opened our Bitcoin Center to the public in La Laguna, Chalatenango • Hosted the Bitcoin Festival Mother’s Day Edition in La Laguna with 100 percent of participating businesses accepting Bitcoin • Participated in the Coffee Festival in La Laguna where 90 percent of entrepreneurs accepted Bitcoin and hosted the first Bitcoin La Laguna meetup • Onboarded around 12 businesses in Puerto El Triunfo, Usulután, turning it into another Bitcoin friendly destination • Participated in #btchistoricosv, MPB Unconference, , #Bitcoinbeach Circular Economy Summit, and @PlanBElsalvador Conference • Participated in the Women in Bitcoin Brunch in San Salvador organized by #paystand • Participated in the Women and Bitcoin Brunch in Medellín organized by Paystand • Collaborated with other Bitcoin projects to strengthen education, adoption, and community across regions #K1elsalvador #tiankii #Ditobanx #Bitcoinize and others.
