Strategy is, effectively, a leveraged closed end fund. Most closed end funds trade at a discount to NAV. If we can assume a good chance that, all else equal and over time, that Strategy will also trade at a discount, then issuing common to pay preferred dividends is dilutive and not a good long term solution. If issuing debt also makes the matter worse (by increasing interest expense or diluting the common), they will need to either sell bitcoin, get active in the options markets, and/or start earning yield by lending their bitcoin. I suspect Strategy will become the world's biggest lender of bitcoin.
