The best way to look at TV and big screen adaptations is to not consider it as the same story. Maybe similar story similar characters, but not an accurate retelling. Amazon did a decent job with Terminal List, but it’s definitely not the same. WoT on Amazon was meh, but considering, I think, it’s nearly impossible to capture the atmosphere of books. The Ways in WoT are written in such a way you can feel them; good luck getting that on a screen.
