Sorry for your loss, i am sure words cannot really describe such situations. But life goes with you now, stay strong

Not important, just convenient in crisis since they see it as a safe place etc, depending on the situation. EU says much, many times does the opposite and benefits Turkyie depending on the situation again.

Could be yes, but as it is can stand alone, meaning the gas of eastern mediterranean could be an energy source by itself.

Ok since i am in the mood, i will tell more 😀. Greece is the energy hub. In theory only, Greece could cut off the supply and only for the east med pipeline. You see Greece is a hub for LNG for eastern Europe at least. There is the LNG terminal in the islet of Revithousa near Athens and also the one in Alexandroupoli (from where also NATO military equipment is going to Ukraine) again bypassing Turkyie. Some people here in Greece we were asking since 2014, why our oligarchs, the notorious ship owners, were tranforming many ships for LNG use from USA, since russian gas was 20 to 30% cheaper and who is going to buy it. A few years later the war in Ukraine started because NATO was pushing for war, using Ukraine as a proxy and we finally understood. Are ordinary people in Greece benefiting from the fsct that Greece is an energy hub? No, russian gas is still cheaper, it is the oligarchs that benefit. Did Greece destroyed economically partly at least because of such implementations? etc etc etc. I hope i helped to show a few things.

They are the best for finding truffles (especially the female ones) but they are going to eat many of them also, not like the dogs which are obedient.

Yeah i remember it, but this is another case. Israel being a hub and therefore would have the ability to cut off the gas, could happen only if the persian gulf states could feed the pipeline. I have heard of such plans and also about a new entrance to the red sea etc, but these are plans. Maybe they could implement in the future but as it is now, Israel is not a hub.

Also let me tell a few more things. This project also is made deliberately so that Turkyie has nothing to do with it. Israel also sells weapons to Cyprus and Greece. There is an effort that these countries will have a military cooperation too (because Turkyie). Egypt is being draged by USA on this, even if somewhat unstable. This is the whole picture. As a greek myself, i am not very proud of this, actually i find it also dangerous, because obviously Israel would like a conflict between Greece and Turkyie instead of a conflict between Israel and Turkyie, but this is what it is. Also you have to know there is a big effort within Greece to convince people that an alliance with Israel is beneficial (which is not). USA is pushing for it.

No, as i understand Israel has the leviathan field that extracts or is going to extract gas (probably should be palestinian), Cyprus has its own field, i don't remember the name, Egypt and Greece too. The gas of these countries will feed the same pipeline. Especially the one of Greece, is just below Crete, there is no way that Israel would cut that gas off. It could cut only Israel's.
