I heard one of the reasons for the rejection was opensats team thinking our 200k users are using our demo server (where we charge 5% fee so people dont use), they do not. That number is people running the software themselves. Opensats needs a better appeal and feedback process for applications. An application going into a black box and it being rejected on mistruths, then projects not knowing the reason or being able to defend is wrong, and incredibly disheartening/unmotivating. More transparency is needed.

I removed the opensats badges from the lnbits repo yday, it was very sad.

Its certainly something made harder by not having that opensats grant. We have always produced a lot for unbanked throughout history of the project, and always will, but resources are significantly less now.

This is a great device, spec was an affordable offline pos for unbanked. Its pretty perfect, although we will update the device to be a bit leaner.

I use the tunnel_me_out extension. Not yet launched into the vetted extensions, but makes reverse proxies in lnbits as easy as a few clicks. You can use the service powering on lnpro.xyz

Totally. And great thing about nostr is how easy it it to create identities. The shop notifications i get are from an identity that took seconds to create. No annoying email sign-ups. Nostrs usefulness for building bots is entirely underestimated

Man, nostr makes building such things so insanely easy, all the perks of tg bots but infinitely easier to make and interoperable across a gazillion clients. Nostr is incredible.
