The most radical shift of our time isn't political - it's perception. It's - ME → WE. We were handed a story. A story that said: compete. accumulate. protect what's yours. trust no one. you're on your own. you can succeed solo. And look at what that story built. Oil rigs on dying land. Factories poisoning rivers. Cities full of people who have never met their neighbors. Anxiety as the default setting of modern life. A civilization that is efficient at extraction and terrible at belonging. The ME culture didn't just damage the Earth. It exploited with greed. And it is damaging us in the inside. The isolation lives in our nervous systems. Parasites live in our gut. The disconnection lives in how we make decisions, raise children, build businesses, and treat the land beneath our feet. This is the culture we have created. But something is shifting. People are remembering what the Valdivia people knew 6,000 years ago. What every intact indigenous culture on Earth still knows today. What the forest has always practiced through its mycelial networks beneath the soil - trees sharing nutrients, information, water - not to compete, just collaborate. Nature is not a ME system. Nature is the original WE. Solar panels on rooftops. Wind turbines on the horizon. Hands in soil. Children playing in community. Birds making music. This is not utopia. It is remembering to just be. The WE doesn't erase you. It completes you. Your gifts matter more in a community that can receive them. Your healing goes deeper when others are healing alongside you. Your vision grows larger when it's built by more than one pair of hands. This is why we act upon bringing people together to regenerate our cultures. We do this with our SEEDS Retreats.
