Very true. I wasn't thinking about the money for the threat alert, but the money spent saving the people who don't listen. I like that its not paid for by tax payers in your state, but from the people being rescued. Now the point is being made, does anyone know of a place with an alert system not funding by the government?

People routinely rely on the government instead of their brain. No self reliance.... And my kids wonder why I try so hard not to help them when they can fix their own problems. (I actually could be doing better with this)

Its the front porch again! I want to drink some ice tea on that porch and shoot the breeze with an a grumpy old fart.

I used to break out in hives by touching grass and couldn't breath if I was outside when the lawn was cut. But oddly, I can sit in grass and now and be fine. I get a little itchy but no hives and I can breath.

Nooooooo. I'm not ready for winter. I just came back after being in the sun and now its just rain rain and cold cold.

I vacuum pack my fish fillet and it lasts two years. I order a half cow and some pieces are wrapped in plastic and wax paper, others in plastic baggies, and some are vacuumed packed. It all gets eaten too fast to know which way is best. So like 6 months to a year.
