I've never really had a need. Ext4 is fine. I've always thought of linux as a throw it up, throw it up again type operating system. I see this as a strength. As long as I have a backup of my home and access to repos, it doesn't take me more than an hour to spin up a build how I like it. I just find snapshots, etc., kinda excessive for something that can be repaired with little effort or time.

Just use ext4. 🤷‍♂️
