I've been using AI in earnest since early 2025. I got a ChatGPT subscription last spring when I was consistently running into message/photo limits. I was asking a lot of questions about home projects. I've used AI very frequently as a research and thinking partner, but it's been more of a challenge to get into building. I've had Claude Code at work and used that to create a Mac Claude Code onboarding page for dummies (me), but agentic workflows have been more of a mental leap for me. At work, some of that has had to do with access issues and bifurcated tools that disallow me from making obvious flows to solve administrative tasks. I recently upgraded my ChatGPT subscription so I could use Codex, and I made an agent that creates Meetup events for Cincinnati Bitcoin. I tinkered a lot last weekend, creating a couple templates and md files and trying to find the right workflows for different types of sessions. There were some limitations since my Meetup subscription doesn't grant access to APIs. But today, I one-shot an event successfully. It created the page, event name, updated the description for the topic, created a new image and got me ready to publish in about seven minutes. Only thing I had to do was manually upload the photo. It's not able to do that and I haven't found a solution yet. I am mildly technical depending on the circle. On Nostr and in Bitcoin, I frequently feel like a dummy. So I am sharing as encouragement for anyone who may be in the same boat! And here is a link to this Thursday's social if you happen to be in the area. We'd love to hang out with you. https://www.meetup.com/cincinnati-bitcoin/events/315091475/?utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=share-btn_savedevents_share_modal&utm_source=link&utm_version=v2&member_id=281448772
