I've been verifying it since the incident. I've seen the different sources. Also it's nice that it's is very difficult (if not impossible at the moment) to install custom firmware. That prevents that someone takes your Jade and modifies the firmware to send them funds somewhere else even if the destination address seems correct on screen. Its a very good device.
