Coffee tree bonsai going on 5 years. Solid trunk and decent bark. I snapped the top off maybe 6 months ago and have three good tops going. The main top topped itself and now has 4 branches which was an interesting and welcome development. Going to move the trunk to the other side of the container soon so the main body of the tree is centered in the container. Will start wire-training the tops once they’re bigger. All my years growing weed helped me understand the language of plant. Bonsai is the most fun plant hobby I’ve found post cannabis.
