It’s a radical shift when you stop crying about what public school and the government “should” do and understand instead the best course is to minimize your (and your family’s) exposure to their insanity. It’s not “they should do _____ !!!!” it’s actually “I should stay the fuck away from everything they’re doing” to the maximum of my ability.

I don’t personally buy that at all. Child rapists in the U.S. have a hard time in prison as is with the threat of extreme extrajudicial violence at every institution, and it doesn’t stop them. I think making a forensically verified conviction face immediate death by firing squad is the only reasonable option. With a secondary option for those who have pedophilic urges but who haven’t acted on them to voluntarily turn themselves in and be banished to some kind of colony like a leper colony.
