We're not even thinking about travel in our household. Even in-country and slumming it is expensive, let alone actually getting a level of quality that seems worth the effort. Standard hotel stay in a "decent" big city is like 400 CAD a night + air travel + car rental + eating out. Nah thanks, I can think of better things to do with 10-20k
