I'd say buy some cheap radios so you have alternative way to communicate in times of power outages (batteries in cell towers die - look in the recent spanish/portugeese outage) Also make things simple - I have a small foldable solar setup that outputs 100w and it has an usb plug so I can very easily charge phones,powerbanks,radios, flashlights etc which gives you easy options during even simple outages. Totally underrated thing is also refueling your gas tank discipline - I never go below half a tank which ensures I can always run it for hours to charge devices or drive for several hours without needing to refuel.
