I just went on a stroll on LinkedIn after I hadn't accessed it for about 6 years. In my previous 'career' in the UN environment sphere, at times it was helpful to keep professional connections there. But oh boy, I didn't expect that I can still be shocked by what's floating around and going on there. Nothing changed. To imagine that most of this corporate, dogmatic, moralistic style and attitude is still in the political and economic driver's seat today ... jeez! I'm so grateful to be in the place where I am now and doing the work I'm doing. But in these moments I feel like I can't work fast enough 😵‍💫

Very right. The cold is a 'just' a very healthy tool to expose you to controlled stress. The cold is conscious short-term stress exposure. This creates new mental patterns towards 'I can do this' instead of seeking comfort.

Yeah, I started with breathwork myself first. And then moved on to discover the cold. There are all these ceazy health benefits, cardiovascular training, hormesis, lasting dopamine kick etc. But what I love most about it is the mental effect, the strengthened mindset, better stress management, and increased body awareness.
