I really think 2D software design tools should be open source. At least vector based. Web assembly. Web GPU. Just put a “render” button to simulate real time look for non-browser mode / top web GPU level quality - and it can show it in a static view. Click the ▶️ button and it will animate or enable a small prototype w no / low storage but maintain the logic. Just the ability to create and edit vectors. See them. Interact with them. It’s just making a website or an app’s UI. Figma runs in the browser and is multi-user.
