I've posted a couple of times about Continuum Memorials & Milestones, and I'm looking for candid feedback. The idea is simple: permanent memorial or milestone inscriptions anchored to Bitcoin rather than something that exists only as long as a website or social-media account does. I'm not looking for encouragement — I'm trying to determine whether this is something people would actually pay for. If you think it's valuable, tell me why. If you think it's pointless, tell me that too. Both are useful signals. And if you'd actually buy one for someone or something important to you, I'd especially like to hear from you. AI has made it remarkably easy to build software. It hasn't made software engineering obsolete. A founder can now go from an idea to a working application incredibly quickly. English: Fair point — 300 sats was just an example based on some of the transactions I’ve already made. Even at 800–1,200 sats, though, the mining fee is still small relative to the $21 service price, so optimizing fees isn’t a priority for me yet. Exactly. That’s one reason I’m keeping the actual OP_RETURN as simple human-readable text. The Continuum page is just a convenient presentation layer. Even if that page disappeared someday, the underlying inscription remains on Bitcoin and can be independently read and verified. Portuguese: Exatamente. Even at around 300 sats per transaction, the mining fee is trivial relative to the $21 service price, so there isn’t much value yet in building tools to optimize every transaction for the lowest possible fee.
