#Bitcoin Core and #Knots is written in C++. A similar attack can be devised in C++ but libraries in C++ dont have weekly or monthly releases like Javascript. Most libraries dont change for many years. Frontend apps like dashboard or wallet UI written in JS/node/next which use RPC are all affected as they use full access API to core/knots. The entire opensource (and closed source) ecosystem has become careless while using package managers.

The #bitcoin developers and node runners are in a serious OP_RETURN argument for last 3 months. While here in #India no one has any clue.
