It’s becoming clear that the Fed, government and Wall Street is doing everything they can to drive a K shaped economy. So are they ignorant to the fact that all K shaped economies end in pitchforks and guillotines or do they have the hubris to think this time will be different by ushering in a police and surveillance state?

CPI is a (manipulated) price index. It is not a measure of inflation. Inflation is an increase in the money supply causing an increase in prices. I will die on this hill.
