I agree. And there's still the Churchill(esc) mantra that lives in the fabric of all our communities from WW2 (which we are heavily indoctrinated with at school), that we can weather any storm and prevail, drinking only tea. But this is a bigger and more confusing beast than most can comprehend.

Baby sitting service is exactly what it is. Factor in the after school clubs, breakfast clubs and the necessity for the schools to feed the children because the parents can't afford to, makes it an even more painful analogy.

The school further enables it because its a natural extension of the state. Although, I think the blame is at home where the parent's have an opportunity to help nurture the child's critical thinking skills but choose not to because of convenience (and social stigmas). We also live in a high time preference society full of busy idiots.

Most of the UK locals fit into one of or a few of the following: 1. Unarmed. 2. Alienated about Bitcoin (capital B) being a scam. 3. Coerced into thinking the Covid-19 vaccine would save them, thier job and livlihood. 4. Made to think being castrated or tubes tied is a good idea. 5. Study centralised social media every waking minute. 6. Watch local news on a tv. 7. Accept the latest DEI narrative. There's an army of zombies. Demoralised with no passion for how to make the necessary changes.
