Re Femmes Orange, if Rachel Geyer is involved it will be excellent. Have been to Edinburgh because it was local, Atlantis in Madiera because my mates were going and it was mainstream enough to take my husband to; and Cape Town which I found disappointingly cliquey and precisely what you feared in terms of no real benefit over YouTube. I just go to small, local meet-ups now.
