Whenever the analysis of a verse or topic consists of about 2 seconds of thinking and follow up questions aren’t tolerated. Another example would be during Covid when “love your neighbor” was used by big-brained Christian thought leaders to pressure Christians into getting injected or wearing masks.

Whenever my Christian family or friends who have been captured by “weaponized universals” thinking say something like “render to Caesar what is Caesar’s,” I reply with, “Whose image is on a Bitcoin?”
