Just finished an epic men’s health retreat with 20 guys. I’m always amazed how rejuvenated I feel after going to a retreat with a great group of people. Seems clear that sometimes the breakthrough you need isn’t more effort. It’s putting yourself in the right environment.

When I look back on my life, the chaotic and stressful times all came when I wasn’t consistently doing yoga, meditation, or walking outside. Instead I doomscrolled and sat in my misery inside. So if you feel a little stuck, don’t underestimate what a little movement, stillness, and sunlight can do for your overall well-being.

Protect your peace. Not because life should always feel easy, but because peace is often the clearest sign that something is aligned.

The easy thing to do is point out flaws in others. The challenging thing to do is to look yourself in the mirror and be honest about your own habits, actions, and behavior.

Sometimes the only way out is straight through. Through the grief. Through the pain. Through the uncertainty. The longer you try to avoid it, the longer it lingers. Waiting on the other side is peace. Go through.
