On rare occasions, I get inside my own head, and not in a good way. Never lasts long. Typically means I’ve been burning the candle too bright, so to speak. Something always breaks me out of it, though, or at least I believe it will every time. This time was no different. Opened the drivers side door of my car today, and there on the floor mat was a cutout slip from one of my kids school projects. “Where do you think your favorite story originated?” Immediately thought of the stories bouncing around in my own head, the “not in a good way” ones. I saw “favorite” as repeating. Thought to myself, “Yeah, where did these stories originate?” as if I’d caught them red handed. It pulled me out of my own head immediately. GN 🌙 🌙 🌙 🌙
