The login experience for the vast majority of Nostr enabled applications needs to improve, and it's coming. This remote signer by is very cool and works very well. Spoilers: has one in the works too. When it's complete, I'm sure it's going to be amazing and I'll use it every day. I'm excited for it! That said, I am not the average human. If you are reading this right now, you fall into this category too. You are most likely a tech savvy person or an early adopter that doesn't mind clunky experiences because you know that these issue will be smoother over time. The vast majority of the world won't use these hardware signers. I'm sorry. They are for tech savvy people, power users, businesses, and similar users that want or need a little more control. We need a more familiar and easy to use experience. And it's coming soon.

Doing it for the diVine 🤓 DVM diVine is still early beta and definitely buggy, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t get ready for when it inevitably blows up in a few weeks! There’s now a “What’s Hot on diVine” DVM feed. Amethyst, and any other app that supports feed algorithms, can plug it in and start using it. Fair warning: right now it’s mostly devs posting videos, with a few random user clips mixed in. But give it a few weeks… this feed is going to get a lot more interesting. Stay tuned!

To be fair, I would not hate to see an ad-supported client. I wouldn't use it, but I'd just like to see a wide variety of monetization models tried. And so when people complain about ads on that platform, we can tell them other, better, models exist.

For just 1 sat a day, you can feed a starving memer. This only works if the memer has 400K dedicated fans though. Keep zapping.

I get that. Corn is a bit passive aggressive, but he's not entirely wrong here. The issue we have is that the current wave of zappers have been bled dry.

Zaps have been stagnant for two years because we haven't gotten new waves of zappers. They're coming. They don't know that they're coming, because they don't know about zaps, but those that are coming DO participate in a value for value economy. Now, it might be a fiat economy, but they do participate in one. We'll teach them a better way forward.
