Is it fair to say that with Maple, we don't have to trust Maple (assuming we read the source code), but we do have to trust AWS?

This is a sad reality for me tbh, but I'm learning to accept it

If I only use models running locally will I be OK? Or do I need to get used to the big cloud providers because they have all the "advanced" features?
