We know something’s backwards when people argue the government should provide healthcare and education because they’re “basic rights,” yet don’t question whether that same government should ensure clean water and un-poisoned food.

At the start of this year, I made a simple resolution: Take the stairs in every office where I can. 🪜 No shortcuts. No elevators. By now, most New Year’s resolutions are long forgotten—studies suggest around 80% of people abandon them within the first couple of months. But here we are in May, and I’m still climbing. 💪 Some days it’s easy. Other days—especially those 4th floor offices—I’m out of breath by the top. 😅 It’s humbling to pause, take a few breaths, and then walk into the next office trying to look composed. But I’ve learned to love that moment. Because it’s a reminder: growth doesn’t happen when things feel comfortable. It happens right at the edge—when you’re a little uncomfortable, a little challenged, and choosing to keep going anyway. What started as a small habit for my physical health has become just as important for my mindset. Consistency > intensity.
