This might be an unpopular opinion… but one of the most ridiculous fiat things I experienced growing up was sitting inside an inflatable dome at school to “see the night sky.” In the middle of the day, during school hours, they’d blow up this plastic globe, project constellations on the ceiling, and charge schools money to teach kids about the stars. Meanwhile… the real sky is free. 🌌 Instead of taking kids outside at night with a telescope, we got the packaged, artificial version. Fiat education at its finest: disconnected from reality, monetized, and scheduled for convenience. Does anyone else remember doing this in elementary school? Did you ever stop and think, “why don’t we just go outside and look at the actual sky?” And the real question: will Bitcoin finally end the era of plastic, inflatable, fake night skies in schools?
