I am not really understanding what you did there but it seems fascinating! Have to dig in deeper!

Hi there! Today was a super busy day - so just a small training log: Got up very early in the morning to make a 60 min run before work. In the evening after work I did manage to do an additional short bodyweight training Session (25 min) with pushups and planks. Tomorrow I will talk about my eating routine 🤓. Keep going! Thanks for sticking around — and keep stacking sats.

Ok so here comes my photo in week 4 and my approach regarding my current training routine. As you might have guessed, I don’t like strict plans that you follow for 3+ months. I hate knowing exactly what I’ll be doing 8 weeks from now. That doesn’t mean I don’t like planning at all — but I do love the element of surprise in my training sessions. That’s why I liked the concepts behind Freeletics, Kernwerk, and CrossFit so much. You have a plan, but usually only about a week in advance. And depending on your progress, the training adjusts. So my new thing is: training with AI 😅 I let AI plan my training. I ask for a weekly program, then give feedback on my results. If the AI planned a running session but it’s raining that day, I just ask for an indoor replacement workout — and boom, there it is. I’m not sure, but I think AI can actually be a pretty good coach. It has access to countless workouts, tons of training knowledge, and it can adjust to my progress and weaknesses. And honestly, it really does feel a bit like having a personal coach 😅 So what do you think? Have you ever tried using AI to plan and track your training? Let’s go! Thanks for sticking around — and keep stacking sats.

So let’s talk about my fitness journey so far. As a child, I was always at a normal weight. I never questioned my eating habits — I could basically eat whatever I wanted and never gained much weight. Two bags of chips and 3–5 ice creams a week felt pretty normal. I tried a lot of different sports, but nothing really stuck. As a teenager — from about 14 to 20 — I started going to the gym 3–4 times a week. I had some intense phases and some less intense ones. I was never extremely fit, but people did compliment my biceps and chest from time to time. I felt very comfortable in my body. When I started university, sport became less and less important. The low point was when I was working while writing my thesis — I gained quite a lot of weight and got close to 90 kg. (I’m 171 cm tall.) That’s when I started Freeletics, and I took it really seriously. I even joined a local race and made it onto the podium in my age group. That was probably the fittest I’ve ever been. I trained 5 times a week and really loved working out with the Freeletics app. (Bodyweight training and running.) But after moving and starting a new job in a new city, I gained weight again. And again, when I was back at around 85 kg, I started using another app: Kernwerk. It was similar to Freeletics, but with a much stronger focus on weight training. And I went all in. I had a fitness room in my apartment, plus lots of weights and machines. I got pretty fit again. Then I moved again. New job. Stopped working out. Gained weight again. I guess you get the picture... Then I started CrossFit. Got fit again. Sold all my home gym stuff because I was going to CrossFit classes. Trained for a year. Got fit again. New job. New apartment. New city. …guess what happened. Stopped doing CrossFit. Gained weight again. And it wasn’t just 5 kg here and there — I kept bouncing between 65 and 90 kg. So yeah. What I can say for sure is this: Every time my surroundings changed — job, city, apartment — I stopped working out. I always had enough on my plate just adapting to the new environment. And here I am. The hard part won’t be losing the weight. The hard part will be staying there. Tomorrow I want to talk about my current training routine. Bonus points if you can guess what I’m using as my training program now. After gym → Freeletics → home gym → CrossFit → what do you think it is now? 😁 Let‘s Go! Thanks for sticking around - and keep stacking sats.

Week 3 So, this is the end of week 3. Since I’m away from home, I don’t have a scale with me, so I can’t check my weight right now. How do I feel about this week? Well, I knew from the start that we’d be spending time with friends over the weekend, so I told myself not to get too obsessive about calories. We went for a long walk on Saturday, and I also did a 90-minute walk today. But in terms of calorie intake... well, I had kebab, pizza, a lot of chocolate, and chips. Somehow, this was my planned cheat weekend from the beginning. My mindset is:Be strict in your daily routine, but don’t overthink calories every single time you’re at a social gathering. I’ll weigh myself again on Thursday or Friday, and I’m really curious to see where I’m at. Over the next 7 days, I’ll eat very clean and stick to my diet strictly. How do you approach social gatherings when you’re dieting? Tomorrow I want to talk about my overall weight and fitness level throughout my life so far. Let’s go! Thanks for sticking around — and keep stacking sats.
