Israel Hayom reported that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman appealed to governments across the region, and indirectly to "Israel", for assistance against Yemen's Ansar Allah as Saudi-backed forces suffer major battlefield setbacks. According to the report, Riyadh's approach to "Israel" was routed through US Central Command, requesting intelligence and other support to help prevent Ansar Allah from taking control of the Bab al-Mandeb Strait.
