GM When people talk about the job market in the AI future and the "inevitable knowledge worker purge" they all seem to picture some kind of a "Planet of the Apes" scenario. This all naivety assumes that, while the tools become increasingly powerful, the scope and quality of whatever one was building before stays the same. If you vibed something greenfield in last year, you know empirically that this is not true. The software and the systems are becoming more abstract and complex. And when we thought we captured the complexity butterfly it slipped through our fingers and landed on another, more fragile branch above our heads prompting us to climb higher. The climbing will never stop.
