On a modern frontline they're at a point where they can't fly wireless drones because the ether is saturated with all sorts of EW and he is expecting to get away with data heavy intercoms for infantry in close combat? How big is the battery for these devices and how are they getting changed? Unless they plan to deploy this in "high intensity police operations" abroad and at home a capable procurement officer will have a difficult time approving this stuff.
