I had a strange dream in which Nostr no longer existed and I was trying to sell my paintings on Instagram to people who didn’t know what Bitcoin was, and I got banned for inciting criminal activity.

A funny thing about Italy. You can walk into a random church on a normal Saturday afternoon and find a painting older than the United States. No ticket. No security line. Just silence and 400 years of paint.

Something that surprises many foreigners when they come to Italy: here museums are not separated from life. You walk into an ordinary church and you might be looking at a 500-year-old painting. Then you cross the street and someone is drinking an espresso. Art is not an event here. It’s just part of the landscape.
