Due to it being open and if the world ever truly goes to hell, it will still be here. While there’s communities that are cult- like and preachy on many platforms & protocols, it’s not as bad as like on the Fediverse. Sometimes it’s nice to just see regular people making cool stuff, talking about life without all of the politics, pearl-clutching, furries and weirdos

I feel this was a great question to ask and was looking for a thorough response. It clearly was never about Nitter users nor everyday people. It became a shot at Bitcoin and pushing for Monero. Will be paying attention for if this becomes better and provide concrete suggestions that actually benefits the aforementioned communities
