It clicked for me when the prof explained you can not observe both position x and momentum m at the same time. If you observe the position of a particle, then a photon that reached your eye has put force on the particle and its momentum has changed since your observation. Likewise, if you observe a particles momentum, then its position has changed since your observation. Basically schrodingers box. (Position, momentum)
