My counterpoint to that would be that the power of the money printer acts as a magnet for the most morally bankrupt in society, and as a wrecking ball for the most morally incorruptible in society. Rendering the money printer useless would make the morally bankrupt less capable in spreading despair throughout the world, and the morally incorruptible more effective in spreading good throughout the world.

So if people had good morals then they would no longer have to worry about being debased by fiat monetary policy?
