Great episode! From a CAD perspective I will recommend Solid Edge from Siemens and Fusion 360. They are both really good professional softwares that offer a free version for amateurs and beginners. Lots of internet tutorias, very minimal KYC and for Solid you can 100% use it offline once downloaded (not sure for fusion). On the other side if any of you guys needs help or a tutorial/doubts with one of the mentioned above or even if you want to design something, reach me out!
