This makes me think about the importance of a father for a little boy. Also, the differences in birth order. My oldest brother had adults and no siblings for the first few years. I was the youngest, so I had a dad and brothers from the get-go to help guide me. The middle brother had some emotional struggles, and I wonder how that plays into things. This is something I want to explore more for #homeschooling. My "kid" son is even behind my "toddler" daughter in many ways, it breaks my brain trying to understand it. He had stressor in his life early on (divorce and custody tradeoffs, and different parenting since his parents are very different people), and those no doubt have had, and will continue to have, lasting impacts. Ive been thinking about the next Awakening period, and what about society my grandkids will reject because they see it as mundane and soulless.. im currently thinking itll be AI and robotics.. people will have robots and computers doing things for them and making them rich but there will be mindlessness and many things will become empty and remove peoples usefulness in society.. I think it'll be a push for humanity and a call for people to use people and human-made goods.. probably another push for communism a la 1960s or 1970s... maybe people throwing out their computers and phones en masses. A man i knew growing up in my church had a bone marrow transplant. I was too young to understand much of it at the time, but it was a success and he went on to live a long life. But, it would be scary for anyone, especially a little kid. Scary as a parent too.. I cant imagine the pain and fear I'd feel if it was my kid going through this. I have made a donation, and will be praying for her, and her parents.
