Exactly…and Flock has lots of issues with data security, let the council know they may be opening up the city to liability for data breaches or misused data. This will end up costing the city way more than any “potential savings” they may be preaching

Depends on the climate you are in. Here we use hair sheep so Dorpers and dorper/crosses. I would also consider katahdin and St croix. And yes sheep love grapes. So you have to graze them in the dormant season in the grapes. And during the growing season you have to be very careful we graze the quick in the grapes and not overnight them in the grapes to keep them from destroying the vineyard

We have a large mix. We are planting the covercrop not only for the grapes but for the feed value when we run the sheep through to eat down the cover crop. So the mix includes: oats, radish, phacelia, flax, three different clovers, barley, peas. The cover crop does not “add” any flavor to the wine. But totally changes the micro climate and soil which has a huge effect on the wines. We have to irrigate much less with the soil being so covered and mildew pressure is al but gone, so the vines are super healthy
