Currently, #nym uses a single relay (of your choosing), except for outgoing messages. Those are sent to the relay selected as well as the nosflare “send it” blaster. This should let other relays have messages passed to them. However, I plan to rebuild the relay connectivity and have no need to pick a relay as it’ll use many different ones by default. This will help ensure Nym sees more messages and is more censorship-resistant and decentralized.

Good work Curious to know how the new geolocation relays will work for those who teleport. Does this mean there will now be two-ish cohorts of people in a geohash channel? One group who are actually within vicinity to the geohash using there more closely aligned relays and another group who are using various relays irrespective of those more closely to the geohash? So, a large portion of the messages of a channel could be fragmented across many relays that not all will collectively see?

I definitely believe #nym is one of the coolest projects I've built. Thanks for getting things kickstarted and the opportunity to contribute in this way to freedom tech Even though nym works great as a PWA, I might also pursue building native iOS and Android apps. Censorship-resistant, decentralized, nym communication is how we win.

I see some people (*cough* John Carvalho *cough*) who say that Nostr is technically inferior and bad. But I greatly disagree. The fact that a retard like myself can jump on and build crazy shit with Nostr and it’s dead simple to do so is a huge selling point for any dev imo. I’m not having to traverse through some overly complex docs to figure out how shit works. Once you’ve grasped the Nostr protocol, you can build new things at rapid pace. Us plebs will be unstoppable.
