Over 20yrs since the movie Team America: World Police came out and it’s still as relevant today as ever before.

So, edits in Nymchat work by using an edit tag and referencing the original event ID in the kind 20000. The app then sees both, but replaces the original event with the edit. Both are ephemeral events. Works beautifully. Why have we not done something similar for kind 1 on #Nostr? I get it there are parametrized replaceable events, but this would be slightly different. Clients could even choose to show edit history that way. Have changes just been blocked by gatekeepers? #AskNostr
