As a shell or as a scripting language? Assuming you’re talking about the former I’d love to hear your reasons. I haven’t touched my shell config in too long and I could use any excuse to rice my config instead of doing my day job 😂

+1 for the mise and uv love. Specifically - uv for simple python packages - mise + uv if you plan on having a polyglot package, e.g python + NodeJS - nix flakes if you want to go full retard and guarantee reproducibility across machines
