Use-cases that drive economic engagement and "local" systems in some form are the way. Global, social-first applications are largely tired and saturated.

Been feeling the itch to stop using a phone completely and have been switching all my apps and tools over to my Daylight/laptop (privacy, pocket EMFs, and focus being the primary reasons). I've found it helps to get me onto my computer and working right away if there's some urgent email or message I have to answer and it's not immediately available on my phone. Hardest things to move over are Signal/chat apps (calls being the biggest reason), Bitcoin wallets (not super easy sending unless paying solely online), and ride share apps (probably booking ahead of time or just connecting to airport WiFi when needed will be good enough). Taking off my email app was by far the biggest productivity improvement for me, and I know once I get a good system for phone and video calls going I'll feel more in control of my time.
