This is one main part of SAIF that shows a western-centric approach. This deeply problematic relationship with technology and markets that western philosophers have is a main part of the unnecessary western baggage that never convinced me when I was studying here in Europe. Thanks to the Quran and to some degree Rothbard, I understood why mainstream western philosophers have developed this baggage. The critique of technology and the markets is wanted by the banking and state elites, and their intellectual allies (the well-known philosphers). That SAIF is, in a way, still trapped in this baggage remains strange to me.

I am fine with being west (asia) centric. West asia has mecca, medina, alquds, bagdad and damscus. Places that gave birth to agriculture, writing, monotheism, technology, the market and many other cool stuff that the west either does not understand (monotheism, technology) or missmanages (agriculture, market) till today. What is so important to understand in a western philosophy that produces coninuous genocides and nihilsm on an industrial scale?

I think SAIF needs to develop its ideas within the islamic framework. I think this would be much more interesting than trying to use the "western" framework. We should understand european philosophy and concepts as a contiuation of the مغضوب عليهم والضالين This whole roman empire trinity ideology and the different modern european answers to it, are of no real use for us. It just shows that taghutism in the catholic, protestant or modern and postmodern atheist manifestations are a problem and dont offer tools for us to go forward.
