They must have not been using BCH apps because there is no such thing as payment pending in the BCH ecosystem. Hopefully we get 1 minute blocks upgrade locked in this year to help with other services that require confirmations.

In the campaign you should describe how exactly you will distribute the funds, how you will verify it goes to medicines, how much will go to you for your efforts and so on. The description provided is very vague. Thanks

I get it, but knowing this you should have not launched a campaign for $200 indicating you were going to put on an educational event. Or you should have used a different venue and smaller scope, like a meet-up, or increased the goal amount, or just cancel and return the funds. What you did is dishonest.

You should complete one small commitment first before endeavoring on a broader one. You are not being transparent and only providing details once questioned. You should have explained in the new campaign and linked to the completed campaign or deposit the funds collected from completed campaign into the new one. Also it is best to engage students in activities where they can earn the BCH. Such as using Nostr and posting then some funds are released. Giving financial support just for showing up is not a good practice.

Well you had the campaign open and set for $200 IIRC, if that was not enough then you could have updated it and reduced the scope or increase the target goal by the extra amount needed and let the campaign run. Instead you let the campaign complete then opened a new campaign asking for 40x more and promising to consolidate knowing this new campaign is unlikely to be fully funded.
